Man Eats 5lb Pizza in 49 Minutes

A restaurant in Lakewood, Colorado by the name of Virgilio’s has three different pizza challenges sure to fill you up. Until now none had been completed but a man by the name of Patrick has successfully conquered it. All three challenges are solo operations and must be completed in under 2 hours. There are no bathroom breaks permitted and all crust and toppings must be finished. The picture above is the owner of the restaurant with the Hugilio #1 which consists of sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, black olives and mushrooms.

The Hugilio #1 is a 28-inch 11 pound pizza with the winner receiving:

• $65.00 pizza for free
• $1000 cash
• Free bottle of wine
• Picture on the wall of fame

The Hugilio #2 is a 28-inch 11 pound pizza with the winner receiving:

• $50.00 pizza for free
• $100 cash
• Free bottle of wine
• Picture on the wall of fame

The Hugilio #3 is a 28-inch 5 pound pizza with the winner receiving:

• $55.00 pizza for free
• $25 cash
• Free bottle of wine
• Picture on the wall of fame

On February 2nd, 2010 Patrick was the first person to complete one of them, downing the #3 in just 49 minutes.
